Rhode Island Supreme Court Attorney Portal

The Rhode Island Supreme Court Attorney Portal (RISCAP) is the electronic filing portal applicants use to submit attorney registration, bar admission, and other filings.

We only accept fees through RISCAP by echeck (account name and address, account number, and routing number required) or credit card (VISA, Discover, and Master Card).

RISCAP is maintained by Tyler Technologies. If applicants experience technical problems submitting filings through RISCAP, please call this toll-free number at 1-833-307-2324 or email support at support@odysseyguideandfile.zendesk.com and explain the difficulties you are having with RISCAP system. Do not contact the Supreme Court Clerk’s Office for assistance with technical problems.

 Certificate of Good Standing

A Certificate of Good Standing is available to attorneys maintaining active or inactive status in Rhode Island. Attorneys seeking a Certificate of Good Standing are required to submit a request on RISCAP. The fee for a Certificate of Good Standing is $15.00. Attorneys have the option to have a Certificate of Good Standing mailed or picked up at the Clerk’s Office. The Clerk’s Office does not deliver a Certificate of Good Standing electronically.
