Board of Bar Examiners
The Board of Bar Examiners, appointed by the Supreme Court, tests the legal knowledge of bar applicants, administers and proctors the Rhode Island Bar Examination on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February and July, and prepares and scores the essay portion of the bar exam. Members serve for five (5) years and there are no limits on the number of terms.

Rules of Practice to assist in the carrying out of its duties.
