            Please be advised that a meeting of the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court Medical Advisory Board has been scheduled for  Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. Workers’ Compensation Court Room 4M, One Dorrance Plaza, Providence, Rhode Island.  Entrance to the building at this hour is through the rear personnel doors.  Attendees may be asked to sign in.

 

Proposed Agenda

   1.      Approval of the minutes of the Board meeting held October 6, 2009

   2.      Preferred Provider Networks:  

                        Detailed list is available 48 hours prior to meeting.

   3.      Protocol Review Project

                        Dorsal Column Stimulators

                        Epidural Nerve Blocks and Epidural Steroid Injections in the
                        Management of Lower Extremity Pain

   4.      Discussion – IME Fees

   5.      Other business

   6.      Scheduling of next meeting

   7.      Agenda for next meeting

   8.      Executive Session in accordance with RIGL 42-46-5(a)(1)
            (performance) if needed.

 

            Nothing contained herein shall prevent a public body, other than a school committee, from adding additional items to the agenda by majority vote of the members.  Such additional items shall be for informational purposes only and may not be voted on except where necessary to address an unexpected occurrence that requires immediate action to protect the public or to refer the matter to an appropriate committee or to another body or official.  ANY BOARD MEMBER NOT ABLE TO ATTEND THIS MEETING SHOULD CALL THE OFFICE AT 458-3460 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO SO ADVISE.
