There is nothing more central to equal justice than making it accessible to
everyone – regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, or economic status. We in the
Judiciary believe it is our responsibility to demystify the judicial process, to
teach the time-tested principles of our Constitution, and to educate our
community of children about their legal system.
With these goals and responsibilities in mind, we are not content to simply
dispense justice from behind the bench. Through a multitude of initiatives, we
are reaching out into our communities to educate and inform, to talk and to
listen, to build public trust and confidence in our legal system.
We invite you to explore this website to discover more information about what
the Rhode Island Judiciary is doing on the Internet and in your cities and
towns.
